Zurich (locally spelt Zürich) is set on a beautiful lake and surrounded by mountains. But Switzerland is a notoriously expensive travel destination. A recent report named Zurich as the most expensive city in the world to visit. As part of our #Take12Trips challenge the toddler and I went on a last minute trip to Zurich. A Day Out in Pettneu am Arlberg With a Baby (Austria)

Pettneu am Arlberg with a baby

A day out in Pettneu am Arlberg with a baby makes a nice alternative to St Anton. It may not be an obvious choice. Pettneu is a village around 6km from St Anton. It lies at the foot of the peak known as the Hohe Riffler, from whose summit you can enjoy breathtaking views all the way to the Allgäu or the Eastern Alps of Switzerland. In winter it is easily accessible on the free ski bus in around 8 minutes.

Buggy Friendly Summer Walks in Zakynthos

Looking back to our holiday in June 2016, here are two buggy friendly summer walks in Zakynthos. A substantial sun shade for your buggy is essential; we were using the Mountain Buggy one. We weren’t using our Mountain Buggy Terrain though. On our summer travels we took a much less bulky Mothercare Nanu model. Which had the advantage of laying completely flat for nap times when out and about.

The Museum in St Anton am Arlberg with a Toddler (Austria)

We like to visit local attractions as well as visiting destinations further afield. To add to the challenge these need to be toddler friendly. I headed to the Museum in St Anton am Arlberg with a toddler in tow. This is somewhere I had never visited in around 7 winters here, so it was about time for a look.
